Farsi Interpreter - Metaphrasis Language & Cultural Solutions - Chicago, IL

We are actively recruiting Medical and Legal interpreters for all languages. If you are fluent in one or more of the following languages, we are especially interested in hearing from you:

Qualifications:
Must be located in Illinois
Must be at least 18 years of age
Proficient in English and a second language
Authorized to work in the US
Candidates may complete or provide proof of successful completion of minimum 40 hrs. of medical interpreter training

Additionally:
The candidate must possess strong linguistic skills, interpreting techniques, and adhere to interpreter code of conduct and industry ethical standards.
Strong organizational skills and experience with online scheduling portals is a plus.

Qualified Individuals:
Must have a flexible schedule
Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times while on the job site
Be available for job assignments during normal business hours from 8am -5pm (M-F)**This is NOT a 8am-5pm position. Independent Interpreters work for-hire basis and are required to travel to various facilities.**Interpreting services may also be required before and after business hours, weekends, and holidays.
