Senior Language Analyst - Leidos - Fort George G Meade, MD

This program requires professional language analysis services in a variety of languages. Qualified candidates possess skills to process complex foreign language materials (audio, graphic, etc.) and focus flexibility to cover continually evolving world events.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have:

• At least ten (10) years of SIGINT experience.


• Accumulated at least five (5) years’ experience in cryptologic analysis through knowledge and work with languages, literature, linguistics and related humanistic fields.


• Excellent command of foreign/position language.


• Foreign/position language test scores equivalent to “Advanced Low” or 4/4 ILR (listening/reading). Scores must be validated and tested within the last two (2) years.


• Demonstrated experience performing high quality translation, transcription and interpreting tasks to and from source and target languages. Experience must be within last two (2) years of application.


• Specific ability to accurately render transcripts and translations into standard, understandable, American English.


• Ability to accurately transcribe voice intercepts.


• Ability to perform final Quality Control (QC) level for voice and graphic tasks.


• Demonstrate specific knowledge, talent and skills necessary to function independently.
