My name is Kast Hasa, actor, director and producer. I just completed the shooting of my first drama feature, Bunker, based on a script I wrote, which went to win first place in a competition for funding by the National Center of Cinematography of Albania. Here is the log line: It was five intense years of work (writing, producing, shooting) to bring the project in its post-production stage. Despite the imposed limitations of the budged and it being a period drama, I still managed to complete the shooting by putting together a great team of talented Albanian actors, employing the most up to date technology, including Red Dragon Epic camera and lens and bringing on board an experienced DP from LA. The main goal for Bunker is to get recognition through its submission to a variety of prestigious film festivals. What is however fortunate in this case is, Bunker is being considered by the Albanian Center of Cinematography as its choice for submission to the Oscars in the foreign film category, upon its completion. As aforementioned, despite the hurdles caused by a low budged, I have worked hard to avoid compromises of its picture and performance quality and I will continue to do so even during its post-production phase. Recognizing the important work of a film, in addition to what this project offers, I can as well offer a modest pay of $ 4,000.00 for the entire project. Sincerely, |
