Investigative Media Advisor - Tirana

Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in investigative journalism
• Experience working in Albania or the region is preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of the Albanian media and political environment and stakeholders preferred
• Technical expertise in multiple areas of organizational capacity and media development, such as skills building for media professionals, media regulatory reform, media management, etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of how to build partnerships and networks to strengthen investigative journalism within a country and throughout a region; strong communications and diplomatic skills required
• Skills in building multi-disciplinary data journalism teams preferred
• Demonstrated success in project management and experience with donor-funded projects, USAID preferred
• Professional proficiency in English is required
