Language Acquisition Aide.pdf Hours: 3.0 hours per day, 12:25pm – 3:25pm

Days: M-F, 195 days per year

Qualifications:
High school diploma or its equivalent. Must understand, speak, read and write English and required language (preferred – Arabic, Vietnamese, Albanian, Bengali) fluently. Ability to work with students is required. Must meet one of the following qualifications:

Completed at least 2 years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 credit hours)

Obtained an Associate’s Degree

ETS ParaPro Assessment

Pass the State of Michigan teacher basic skills test

WorkKeys Assessment

Portfolio Assessment

Must have OPAC basic skills assessment, pertinent to position qualifications. If OPAC testng is not on file, selected candidates will be contacted for OPAC testng.
