Patrick Cudahy has an opening for Human Resources Clerk position. This is a full-time, 1st shift position that may require occasional work on weekends if necessary. This position is located at our Headquarters in Cudahy, WI at the Patrick Cudahy, LLC
DUTIES
1. Prepares documents, routine correspondence and standard reports as requested.
2. Reviews enrollment reports, completes basic data analysis and ensures employee payroll concerns are correct
based on the enrollment data for insurance and other benefits.
3. Maintains an accurate filing system, including scanned documents, on current employees and retirees.
4. Assists in maintaining specialized HR databases and reports including KPI and Pension reports.
5. Provides assistance and responds to routine benefits, payroll and discipline inquiries from employees and
applicants.
6. Enters data into HRIS system on a daily basis.
7. Prepares and distributes new employee information packet; administers pre-employment tests and reference
checks.
8. Provides primary, front-line reception services as needed.
9. Maintain I-9 files and document updates to the I-9s
10. Maintain the plant and department posting program and work with bid winners and department transfers.
11. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Organized, ability to handle multiple priorities.
2. Strong verbal, organizational, filing, telephone & interpersonal skills. Ability to deal well with difficult situations.
3. Communication phone/email, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
4. Data entry skills-10Key, Good typing skills. Able to use computer, copier, calculator, postage & fax.
5. High School Graduate or GED. Associates degree preferred.
6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, etc.
7. Bilingual in Albanian. Strongly preferred
8. Working knowledge of KRONOS preferred.
9. Strong sense of confidentiality.
