TARGET LINGUISTS LLC is currently hiring experienced language instructors in the following languages: Albanian, Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic and all dialects of Arabic), Armenian, Chinese Mandarin, Dari, English as a Second Language (ESL), Farsi, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Kurdish, Pashto, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Urdu. Required Qualifications:

• Must be a US citizen


• Must be able to pass a criminal background check


• Native proficiency or the equivalent in the desired language or languages (equivalent to Interagency Language Roundtable scale of 3 or above)


• Native proficiency or the equivalent in English (equivalent to Interagency Language Roundtable scale of 3 or above)


• Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education


• Five or more years of relevant experience teaching foreign language skills to adults


• Capable of operating in an office environment for eight or more hours a day


• Ability to securely handle sensitive or classified information (if or when authorized)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to travel within the US or outside the US


• Current SECRET or above security clearance


• Experience as a translator or interpreter


• Experience managing and/or training instructors, translators, or interpreters


• Experience working with US government clients


• Experience teaching a foreign language in secondary schools or universities or professional language training companies or other accredited institution


• Experience living or working outside the US, particularly in a country or countries where the language of your subject matter expertise is spoken


• Familiarity with the Speaking Proficiency Test (SPT), Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI), Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), and/or the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale
