MS Windows Systems Engineer
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities
1. Resolve / close incident tickets by executing remote and on-site diagnostics, and /or by consulting Vendor’s knowledge base and Service Ticket responses if Vendor is also involved
2. Deliver workloads according to defined SLA targets and escalate timely when there is risk of not meeting SLA or an issue increasing in severity.
3. Perform hardware troubleshooting on Intelx86 Servers, Storage and Backup
4. Performing system administration duties on Windows Operating System on both Server& Desktop
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex MS Windows & MS Mail Exchange problems
6. Performing OS installations and configuration on new servers, Storage and Backup Devices
7. Configure and deploy MS Windows-based complex infrastructure solutions that require Windows system performance tuning and Disaster Recovery Configuration.
8. Collaborate with the team during the design and the infrastructure for new systems, particularly the Windows Server OS, NLB Feature, and Cluster Technologies.
9. Perform Basic configuration of Data Network Devices such Routers, Switches and Firewalls
10. This is a 24/7 operation and rotating on-call support is a requirement.
