LIS Solutions is a small woman owned business that has been servicing public and private sector clients for the last 21 years. We are the prime vendor of translation services for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
We are currently looking for experienced freelance translators who can translate medical, legal and social-related texts from English into Albanian and from Albanian into English. The work will be utilized on communication going out to Medicaid & Medicare users via e-mail, mail or might be showcased on the CMS website.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews translations to ensure that terms and terminology is accurate and remains consistent throughout the document.
- Proofread, revises, edits and translates documents.
- Able to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with legal and medical terminology.
- Able to apply received feedback
Requirements:
- Able to translate a minimum of 4,000 – 5,000 words per week.
- 2+ years of experience in translating texts from English into Albanian and from Albanian into English
- Uninterrupted internet access.
- Able to perform work independently (From Home)
Desired Skills:
- Experience with CAT Tools. TRADOS (Preferred)
- Healthcare Certified (Preferred, but not required)
Candidates MUST be US Based and have several years of experience providing translation services in similar contexts.
