Contracts and Grievance Center Data and Operations Analyst - Local 32BJ SEIU - New York, NY
Responsibilities of the position include:
Management of the Microsoft CRM case management system (CRM) for the CGC including –
Training and support of grievance staff in use of the CRM system
Integrating data with main SEIU 32BJ member database systems
Working with Dues, Contracts and 32BJ Funds staff to ensure data accuracy
Managing accuracy of employer and member demographic data
Support of ancillary systems such as Xperido (document production), Sharepoint (document storage), Scribe (data synchronization) and Qlikview (reporting) systems.
Updating customized agreement templates for managing grievance deadlines and customized intake processes for grievance claims
Working with 32BJ IT department and outside vendors on bug fixes and custom development
Development of custom forms and workflows to support grievance department work
Development of shared calendar systems with related parties to grievance process
Reporting
Development and support of customized reports in CRM and Qlikview to support grievance staff, administrators, attorneys, and managers
Development and maintenance of key metrics to support quality control of grievance process
Development of customized reports for 32BJ partners such as benefit funds, employers and arbitration agencies
Quality Control
Case closing quality control including review of paper and electronic case files to ensure compliance with grievance process.
Document Production
Development of bulk document templates
Document production for communication with members, employers and related agencies.
Qualifications include:
Experience identifying opportunities for data collection and analysis that informs decision-makers.
Ability to present analysis to grievance staff, including effective oral, written and visual presentation skills
Ability to effectively train staff with a wide variety of technical backgrounds
Attention to detail
Ability to travel and work extended hours, as needed
Significant interest in or prior experience in the labor movement.
Technical requirements:
Experience with Microsoft CRM or equivalent database systems
Experience with SQL query language. Experience with Javascript or C# a plus
Experience developing workflows
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and other spreadsheet software
Experience in manipulation of data from multiple sources and databases
Experience in report generation. Qlikview a plus or related reporting tools like SSRS or Tableau
Bilingual (Spanish, Polish or Albanian) is a plus.
